Grungearound art-book is a journey into the atmosphere of the late 80s and early 90s that reigned in Seattle, Olympia and other grunge landmarks not only on the Northwest Coast, but also in US cities close to it by musical spirit.

In our book we dive into the origins of grunge, remember the undeservedly forgotten bands, which, however, had a huge impact on the scene.

Every illustration in the book is the result of immersion in the work of respective artist. Drawings are filled with references to lyrics, musicians' life events, funny Easter eggs, which accompanying texts help to unravel.

We also tried to reflect interesting facts from the ingenious biography of the performers in the text. Of course, it do not give an idea of the band or the performer in full. The task is different. This text was written to show links between certain groups, mutual influence on each other and significance for the genre as a whole. And also in order to encourage readers to learn more about these bands by themselves.
